Hot Fun In The Summertime

I trust you have missed my unique yet common sense takes on sports during the summer months. I’m recharging the batteries and will be raring to go in mid to late August with both blogs and podcasts released on a regular basis, especially with the NFL and College football seasons getting ready to roll into high gear.
 
One take before I go. The final round of The Open between Henrik Stenson and Phil Mickelson was as good a golf as you will see in the final round of a major. Mickelson played great and Stenson played even better to win his first major. NBC had to love getting such a great finish to their first Open in Britain.
